Owner/Groomer
When I was just a child it was my dream to become a dog groomer. My mom was a hair dresser and I used to sneak her shears and “trim” our Great Pyrenees, much to her dismay! (lol) But years later, I finally had my opportunity! Since April of 2015 I’ve been following my dreams! I decided 2020 was going to be my year (despite all the chaos) and branched out and opened Garver Grooming! I am a small shop and try to make sure to leave plenty of time between appointments so your furry companion can enjoy my undivided attention! I want you and your pet(s) to feel like home and part of the family - because to me you are!
I currently have 5 dogs, an English Springer spaniel (Rue) A beagle/pitbull mix (Iggy), and a Mastiff/Rottweiler (Mable), a healer/lab mix (Sam), & a dachshund/beagle mix (Digit). I also have 2 cats, a chinchilla, a bearded dragon, and a snake. In my free time i love to kayak, grill out, and hang out with my son!
Ashley Arscheene
Groomer
Ashley has 15 years of grooming experience, and her great work shows it! She’s brought some refreshing new tricks, styles, and tips to the team! She works very well with the misunderstood pups and has a huge soft spot for the senior pets. She’s competed before in a grooming competition, as well as taken pet safety & cpr courses! We appreciate all the gentle care, knowledge, and heart Ashley brings to the salon! She has 2 crazy pups, Skye & Jade, and a goofy cat. She loves spending her free time at the beach, with her son, or gardening!
Jamie Fernald
Groomer assistant
Jamie is such a wonderful new addition to the salon! She brings years of veterinary clinic experience to us as a client care specialist! Meaning she is great with the nervous, anxious, and scared pets. She wouldn’t hurt a fly (literally💕) meaning your pets couldn’t be in better hands. She has many pets as well, including a special needs Australian shepherd with Cerebellar hypoplasia, who she adores! She loves the beach, plants, and spending time with her 2 kids.
Laury Brubaker
Receptionist
Laury is Sarahs mother, who now works the phones and booking system to keep everything running and flowing smoothly! She loves her wirehaired dachshund Kegger! She also enjoys being on the water, gardening, and meeting everyone and pet that comes through the door! Laury was also a human hairdresser for 38 years, and loves helping her daughter follow her dreams!
Delani Stull
Groomers Assistant
Delani was Garver Groomings first official employee! She currently attends college at Michigan State for Veterinary, but spends her breaks here at Garver Grooming! Let’s not forget her great, gentle animal handling experience and years of personal studies on breeds, behaviors, and more! We’re excited to have her on Garver Grooming’s Dream Team, as she does great with our deshed and geriatric friends. Delani loves her sweet old dog Keegan, and also enjoys plants, and making as many 4 legged friends as she can!
